Chris Knott, the founder of Starfish Malawi, visited St. Peter's Church in November 2018. During the service, he shared with the congregation the exciting news that Ightham Primary School, St. Peter's Church and the local Ightham community had successfully raised the £7500 required for the building of two new classrooms at Thugulu School. He shared a video showing the building work in process!

Teacher Exchange Visits 2015-2016
We were delighted to receive the Head Teacher from Thugulu School in Malawi on Thursday 17th September 2015. He remained in Ightham until Monday 28th September when he returned home. This was Mr Chatukulu's first trip outside Malawi. He spent a week working with our children in the classrooms and he also led a special assembly. At the weekend, he visited London and Brighton, as well as completing a walk around Bewl Water.
In October 2015, Miss Livesey visited Thugulu School in Malawi. She travelled on Thursday 22nd October and returned on Saturday 31st October. She learnt a lot about life in Thugulu and she shared this with parents, children staff and governors. Approximately twenty-five parents attended her two presentations in December 2015.
